What are the Toddlekind play mats made of?

The play mats are made of EVA foam, a wear-resistant durable plastic, 100% safe according to the requirements that apply in Europe and America. The Toddlekind play mat consists of 6 tiles of 60 x 60 cm which form a play mat of 120 x 180 cm, the EVA foam is 1.2 cm thick, perfect for playing.

About Toddlekind

Toddlekind was founded in early 2018 by the British mother of two, Samantha Brueckner, who was looking for a cheerful, sustainable play mat for her children that would also be an eye-catcher in her home. No baby play mat met her requirements, so she developed the perfect play mat herself.

What does the name Toddlekind mean

Toddlekind® has a dual nationality name, the word "Toddler" means small child and "Kind" is the German word for child. So a mix of 2 nationalities.

The Toddlekind play mat is suitable for all stages of your baby's development from birth 0+ months.

How do you clean the EVA foam play mat?

We understand that the play mat can also get dirty, you do not have to wash the tiles, you simply clean them with a wet cloth. EVA foam is, as the name says, a foam and not resistant to sharp objects such as high heels or nails of dogs and cats. Regularly check the tiles for any imperfections.

How do you clean up the play mat?

The tiles are easy to take apart again, stack them next to or on top of a cupboard.

Can I also make the Toddlekind play mat larger?

Yes, you can, you can easily make the seamless tiles larger in the size you want:
