Vacancy Commercial Purchasing assistant PETIT MONKEY

What are your duties?

  • Taking care of the purchasing and financial administration.
  • Maintaining contact with the suppliers as soon as the productions are entered. Requesting production samples, shipment and photo samples and checking correct article numbers, EAN codes and correct inner and outer packaging, dimensions and weights.
  • You are responsible for planning incoming goods, coordinating the unloading of containers and checking deliveries and ensuring an organized warehouse.
  • Taking care of the sales and financial administration
  • Maintaining contact with resellers and distributors worldwide, answering product questions and handling complaints.
  • You manage the Petit Monkey image bank, take care of product photos together with the photographer and ensure that new articles are put online in the B2B store. You are also responsible for the catalog
  • You follow the market closely, follow trends and identify new developments.
  • You know your resellers, you follow what they do and you recruit new potential resellers every week at home and abroad.

What do you have to comply with?

  • HBO graduated: Business Administration specialization Purchasing Management, Fashion & Textile Technologies or TMO Fashion Business School.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience.
  • Available full-time for 38 hours a week, 32 hours is negotiable.
  • Good command of the English language, French, Spanish or German is an advantage
  • Experience with Exact online is an advantage

Who are you?

You have good communication skills, where you work independently, but you can also work well in a team. You find it a challenge to have your administration in order, after all, this is the basis of the purchasing activities. You are analytical and conceptual and excel in planning and organizing.

You have guts, are curious and enterprising and have a very good commercial instinct. You know how to keep several balls in the air without losing the overview. You are able to perform multiple activities at the same time under pressure of deadlines and you can switch quickly.

Petit Monkey is part of PSikhouvanjou BV, the online shop for babies + kids since 2008, and founded in 2015. Petit Monkey is a fresh young and innovative brand, Petit Monkey develops articles that fit perfectly within the children's world, they are colorful, illustrative, they stimulate their imagination and above all make them happy.
The collection is broad, such as illustrated toys, children's tableware and a large collection of lunch items, which are preferably produced sustainably.

You will work in a small team of 7 people, development and growth are central within the organization. We are therefore looking for a colleague with a positive attitude who thinks in opportunities and possibilities.
